Default Ridiculous rune prices

Some people I have seen selling earth, air, and water superiors for 10-20k each. Some questions:
1) Will prices actually go that high from trader?
2) Why?
3) Will the greens for the associated elements be worth much more than they are now?

Oh, and reasons to your answers would be appreciated. Thanks.

1. Probably not, assuming you can get them. I expect them to level out around 11K or so, where fire once was.

2. see above.

3. Worth always depends upon the person buying it. Was Ragos Staff worth 100K? I suspect the Air and Water version will climb to that now, mainly because the GW community are typically a greedy bunch of SOB's. All you need to do is browse the sell forums to see that in practice.

waterstaff's are found in GF and are so damn common they will never reach 100k, its not so much being a greedy bunch of sobs but more a issue of suply and demand. Runar's brimstone might increase in popularity a bit though.

ofcourse this is just my opinion

This is pure speculation in the market.

When the update hit ppl started buying water and air runes from the trader. Now we are to the point where the trader is out of stock and not selling them.

With ppl switching to air now there is however still a demand for them.

So ....

High prices

If you aren't lucky enough to already have your runes, then you'll have to wait a bit for the speculation to die down. With the other 3 elements now capable because of their snares and aoe together, many elementalists will be switching over to earth, wind, and water.

But in about 30 days, the supply should be back to normal.

Man, I hate profiteers.
